Responsible for the implementation of Child Development programs for infants through school age children and provide other community outreach services to family members.
I link the residents of Lynwood and surrounding areas to community resources by identifying local agencies providing services and coordinating the delivery of on-site services.
In addition to my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Black Studies, I have continued my education by earning three additional certificates. I completed the Domestic Violence Counselor Training Certificate Program in the fall of 2001. This is a 40-hour-course program that offers professionals from varied backgrounds the opportunity to master the skills to become qualified Counselors. I completed the Teacher Credential Program in Early Childhood Education at Compton Community College in the spring of 2000 and I completed the requirements for a PITC certified trainer in January 2002.
