As an Early Childhood Education Specialist at Boys Town National Research Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska for 12 years I worked with preschoolers who were deaf or hard of hearing for 5 1/2 years and in the Child Life department, educating children of all ages prior to their outpatient surgeries.
I then spent 1 1/2 years as the EHS Coordinator at Child and Family Development Corporation which serves 120 children birth to three. I was responsible for training and support services for 15 EHS classrooms. In July 2002 I joined a new program, Educare Omaha, Inc., a birth to five school serving low income families as a Master Teacher. In March 2020 I transitioned to the position of Infant Toddler Program Specialist within the Educare Omaha organization.
