Irene Cook

I have fourteen years of experience in Special Education working with children three to fourteen years of age with various special needs. I have been an infant/toddler caregiver, a pre-school teacher, and currently teach at Bakersfield College, Taft College, and Cal State Bakersfield University in the Child Development Department. I have experience as a stipend trainer for PITC as well as conducting workshops for resource and referral agencies throughout the state. I have also done consultant work for family childcare providers both individualized and in group trainings. I am a graduate of Pacific Oaks college and believe firmly in the concept of life-long learning!
