Sue Shepardson has been a Regional Coordinator with WestEd’s Program for Infant Toddler Care (PITC), Partners for Quality since 2011. As a Regional Coordinator, she oversees and provides on-site training and seminars in Contra Costa, Solano, Napa, and Alameda counties. She also conducts outreach efforts to identify programs interested in receiving PITC training and match them to infant/toddler specialists.
Shepardson has been involved in the early childhood field for over 30 years. Prior to joining WestEd, she held positions as teacher, site supervisor, director, and parent educator in child care facilities serving children 0-12. She conducted CCIP trainings through resource and referral programs, presented at educational conferences, and taught early childhood courses at community colleges.
Shepardson holds a BA from Pacific Oaks College in Human Development and an MA from California State University, Hayward in Teacher Education/Early Childhood Curriculum.
