Margie Perez-Sesser has been in child development programs since 1973. She has been a full time instructor for Early Childhood Education for Modesto Junior College and at Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo and is the former President of the California Community College Early Childhood Educators (CCCECE). She is currently a Federal Reviewer for Early Head Start and has served as a WestEd/PITC part-time faculty for several years.
Perez-Sesser has been a director of Head Start, Migrant Head Start, State Preschool and private non-profit centers. She also supervised the First Step Perinatal Program for five years in a drug and alcohol treatment program serving infants with special needs.
Perez-Sesser has a BA in Child Development from California State University, Stanislaus and received an MA in Human Development with a specialization in Leadership in Education and Human Services from Pacific Oaks College.
