Constance Y. White's primary responsibilities as a Regional Trainer/Coordinator include the establishment and management of a clearinghouse for Los Angeles County Program for Infant/Toddler Caregivers (PITC) Partners for Quality participants. She provides support and technical assistance for a regional network of PITC certified trainers and Institute participants. In addition, she maintains records documenting the PITC Partners for Quality services rendered to support quality infant/toddler caregiving in the metro Los Angeles area.
She also provides training and technical assistance to the demonstration program at Citrus College in collaboration with CDE, WestEd, demonstration staff, and selected trainers as well as conducts tours for programs serving infants and toddlers interested in observing quality infant/toddler care in action.
Previously, she has worked as an adjunct faculty member at various Los Angeles based community colleges and has been responsible for providing technical assistance and training to private, Head Start, and Even Start Preschools. Ms. White has often presented at local and state conferences on anti-bias and pro-diversity issues and has provided training and technical assistance in Creative Curriculum at the preschool level.
