Work Experience
As a bilingual/biliterate (English/Spanish) ECE instructor I have expanded my experiences to include: Grant writer/director of ECE grant projects from staff development, curriculum development, ECE coursework with the instruction in Spanish, and innovative training approaches for non-traditional students.
I have offered courses on and off-campus in the Salinas Valley. Some of the courses have been conducted in labor camps, child development centers, school cafeterias, and district offices.
I have also worked as a consultant for school districts, colleges, and agencies on Desired Results, parent education, program development, child development and teaching strategies.
I have conducted trainings for Early Head Start programs in Region IX. Some of the workshops were conducted in Hawaii, Nevada, Arizona, and California.
My specialization include ECE curriculum, assessment and evaluation, infants/toddler education, and methodology,child development,and guidance/discipline.
