Tina Jiminez has 25 years of experience in early childhood education, and joined WestEd in 2002 as an Infant/Toddler Specialist with WestEd’s Program for Infant/Toddler Care (PITC), Partners for Quality. In 2008, she joined the E3 Institute’s Quality Enhancement Support Team (QuEST). As a QuEST coach, she worked with diverse programs, serving children from birth to age five, to support them in meeting California First 5 Child Signature Program (CSP) goals.
Prior to joining WestEd, Jiminez worked as a private consultant specializing in leadership of non-profit organizations and mentoring. She also taught Early Childhood Education classes in the California community college system. She currently teaches early childhood courses at University of California, Davis Extension - Family Child Care Project.
Jiminez earned an MA in Human Development from Pacific Oaks College with specializations in Developmental Education and Leadership in Education and Human Services.
