Amy Weaver

Amy E. Weaver is a childcare professional who specializes in training programs for caregivers, teachers and childcare program developers. She has worked in the childcare field for twenty years, including 13 of running her own center. Since 1992, Amy has been an adjunct faculty member at Howard Community College and Anne Arundel College in Maryland. She has taught courses ranging from Child Growth and Development up to the School Age certification course with dozens in between. Her specialty courses are designed to spread information about the growing number of children in group care between the ages of 0-3. Amy played an instrumental role in designing the early childhood curriculum at Anne Arundel Community College and currently serves as the Technical Advisor to Infant and Toddler Education. Currently she is working with Anne Arundel Community College writing and administrating Early Childhood Education grants as well as continuing to training new teachers and caregivers. She received her degree in Early Childhood Education from Howard Community College, and is completing the reliability training for ECERS and SACERS.
