Betty Easley

For over 40 years, I have worked in the field of early childhood focusing on typically developing infants and toddlers and on children with disabilities, mental illnesses, and traumatic brain injuries. My experience includes direct teaching of infants and toddlers in the classroom, being a home visitor for families with an infant with disabilities, directing a large child care center for migrant workers, working in state institutions,directing pediatric brain injury and in-patient and out-patient pediatric medical rehabilitation services, directing large Birth to Three programs, and working with large multi-state migrant head start programs. Currently, I direct infant and toddler services for the Texas Migrant Council serving 7,000 children in five states. Training of caregivers, parents, and professionals has been a part of each experience. I have also taught at both community college and university levels.
