PITC has the following opportunities to complete certification for those who have already participated in one of the in-person PITC Institutes. Applications may be submitted at any time throughout the year. Priority will be given to those who are certified in at least two modules at the time of enrollment.

Fees
The tuition fee for each institute (two modules) is $3,400. This covers:
- PITC caregiving guides, trainer's manuals, and supplementary reading materials
- Institute Sessions
- Double-occupancy hotel accommodations for 6 nights
- Most meals (three dinners on your own)
Single–occupancy rooms are available for an additional fee.
Academic Credit and CEUs and Professional Growth Hours
- Early Childhood Education (E) Units and Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will continue to be provided at the in person Institute through Sonoma State University
- certificates documenting professional growth hours will be awarded.
Certification Responsibilities of Participants
All participants are encouraged to complete the certification requirements for all four modules in The Program for Infant/Toddler Care. The requirements include full participation in the training sessions of each module and the writing of certification papers covering the content of each module.
Activities that will support the participants in completing certification requirements include participating in the sessions of the modules; reading PITC caregiving guides, trainer’s manuals, and supplementary handouts; reviewing PITC videos; engaging in reflective writing tasks; and completing certification papers for each module.
Early Childhood Education (ECE) Academic Units and Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
Participants attending in-person PITC Training Institutes have the option of receiving:
- 3 ECE academic units (undergraduate level units) per institute, or
- 4.5 ECE CEUs per institute (45 hours of credit).
All units are ECE extended education units from Sonoma State University. If you plan to use these units for college level academic coursework or toward other permit or license requirements, please check with your educational institution before submitting your registration form.

Cancellation Policy
Once enrolled, a $3,400 cancellation fee will be charged if the cancellation occurs less than 30 days prior to the start of the Institute. In addition, for cancellations less than 48 hours prior to the start of the Institute, hotel cancellation charges may apply. NOTE: All cancellation fees are subject to change.
