Brief Program Overview
The 2023 Academy for Program Directors is a three-day in-person training event for California infant/toddler program leaders that builds awareness and supports utilization of new materials developed as part of the California Early Learning and Development System.
The California Department of Education publication, Inclusion Works! Creating Child Care Programs That Promote Belonging for Children with Disabilities, Second Edition, anchors this year’s event. Linda Brault and the Beginning Together faculty will explore practical approaches for integrating resources from the publication for program implementation to support inclusive practices.
The Academy for Program Directors is presented by the California Department of Social Services, Child Care and Development Division and WestEd.
